On December 7, 2022, the official release of "Further Optimization of the New Ten Epidemic Prevention Measures" announced "no longer conducting nucleic acid testing for all employees by administrative region". Jiangsu SIMAND Electric Co., Ltd.'s support for the volunteer team of epidemic prevention and control in the Economic Development Zone of Xiangcheng District has thus completed its phase of historical mission.
On the same day, Li Huizhong, Director of the Office for relationship between Party and Masses of Xiangcheng Economic Development Zone, led the team to Jiangsu SIMAND to award plaques to the selfless SIMAND volunteers.
In the spring of 2022, Suzhou experienced an unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 epidemic. During the national fight against the epidemic, SIMAND people responded actively to the government's call, and in just a few days formed a 48-member volunteer service team as a reserve force for epidemic prevention and control, and nucleic acid testing in the Economic Development Zone.
From February 17 onwards, this strong volunteer force, regardless of wind or rain, cold or heat, operated until November 21. The volunteers supported by Jiangsu SIMAND provided services at public nucleic acid testing points such as Kangyuan Community, Mete Technology, Xya Electric Communication, Taiyuan Community, Zhongxiang Lijing, Sunflower Garden, and Osmanthus Park, with a total volunteer service time exceeding 1171 hours.
Now, the shadow of the epidemic is dissipating, and the pace of reopening is accelerating. Let's put away the shiny and heavy medals, reorganize and set off, face the destined 2023, which will be a hard battle for economic construction, and meet the challenges and achieve new accomplishments with more full enthusiasm, more high fighting spirit, and more fearless spirit!
